Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for a class?

Registration is completed online. Select BOOK NOW, choose the course and date that work best for you, and follow the prompts to complete your registration and payment.

Where are classes held?

Public classes are held at Banbury Place – The Gillette Room, located at:

800 Wisconsin Street, Building 2
Eau Claire, WI

The Gillette Room is located on the 4th floor of Building 2. Free on-site parking is available.

How early should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled class. This allows time to park, locate the classroom, and get settled before training begins.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. CPR training is hands-on and includes kneeling, bending, and practicing skills on manikins.

Do I need previous CPR or healthcare experience?

No. Whether you're learning CPR for the first time or returning for certification, you'll have the opportunity to practice skills, ask questions, and learn in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.

How do I pay for my class?

Payment is required when you register and can be completed securely online using a credit or debit card.

Businesses and organizations arranging group or on-site training may contact us to discuss payment and invoicing options.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Class registrations are non-refundable. Because class sizes are limited and your registration reserves a seat specifically for you, refunds are not provided for cancellations, missed classes, incomplete online coursework, or no-shows.

Please verify that you are registering for the correct course before submitting payment.

Can I reschedule my class?

Yes. Each registration is eligible for one complimentary reschedule when the request is received at least 7 days before the scheduled class.

Requests received less than 7 days before class may be rescheduled for a $25 rescheduling fee.

A rescheduled class must take place within 4 weeks of the original class date. After that period, a new registration and payment will be required.

What happens if I miss my class?

Students who do not attend their scheduled class are considered a no-show. Missed classes and no-shows are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling, and a new registration will be required to attend another class.

What if I accidentally register for the wrong certification organization?

Chippewa Valley CPR & Life Support Training provides the certification organization identified in the individual course description. If your employer, school, licensing agency, or other organization requires a specific certification provider, please confirm its requirements before registering.

Registration fees cannot be refunded because a different certification provider was required.

Do you offer on-site training?

Yes. On-site CPR and life support training is available for groups of 5 or more. We can bring training directly to workplaces, healthcare settings, childcare programs, community organizations, and other groups throughout the area.

Contact us with your location, group size, and the course you're interested in, and we'll help coordinate your training.

Do you offer private training?

Private training may be available by request. Contact us for availability and pricing.

What is a blended learning course?

Blended learning combines online coursework with an in-person skills session. The online portion must be completed before attending your scheduled hands-on session.

If your course includes online learning, you will receive instructions for accessing the required coursework after registration. Please watch your email, including your spam or junk folder, for course information.

How long does the online portion take?

Completion time varies by student and course. We recommend allowing plenty of time to complete your online coursework rather than waiting until the day of your skills session.

Your required online coursework must be completed before your scheduled in-person session.
